Blue Gold was established in 2002 by Heinrich Olivier with specific focus on the swimming pool and flower industries.  Heinrich's approach to the business was to obtain scientific endorsement from the CSIR / SABS and the University of Witwatersrand, before entering the applicable markets.  Through extensive testing and research at various academic institutions, government facilities and private laboratories, the true potential for the application of Blue Gold became apparent.
