Background
The concept of Imuniti started 5 years ago with the registration of Edge to
Edge Global Investments Limited and later the registration and listing of
Imuniti Holdings Limited on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (" *JSE").
It all started with a very simple process originating out of the heartland
of Kwazulu-Natal at a company called Impilo Drugs. Impilo Drugs decided 8
years ago to go into natural medicines although at that stage they were a
pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Manufactured by Impilo Drugs the
original pack consists out of a combination of 4 supplements and a litre of
Aloe Vera juice.
After investigating the HIV/Aids market we realized that this market is a
political minefield, with both the pharmaceutical and natural medicine
industries competing to find a solution for this problem. Realizing that
poverty, poverty relief and food insecurity was a far greater problem than
HIV/Aids itself.
The New
The edge2edge team decided to relook at the original pack and form a new
combination then know as the Imuniti Nutrition and Supplement Combo Pack,
specifically branded in that manner because of the ingredients it consists
of.
We then decided to add Rooibos (Aspalathus
Linearis - also known as Redbush) with Zinc and Selenium extract
to the original pack. We added this for their different properties it
delivers, already tested all over the world.
We then added a food product specifically sourced. It had to be a natural
food; it had to be high protein, soy and maize based.
We then took it one step further. We knew that medication and food are
worthless without healthy drinkable water to go with it, so we then added a
natural water sterilizing solution.
This made the new Imuniti Nutrition and Supplement Combo Pack absolutely
unique because its 100% natural, even the water sterilizing agent is
medically tested and approved local and by various international bodies.
The composition of the new pack is made of 100% natural products containing
both natural and traditional medicine, high protein food and a water
sterilizing agent. The product is designed in such a manner that even the
most illiterate will understand and buy into it.
The cost is minuscule in comparison to the antiretroviral therapies that are
currently available. We also acknowledge that even as an affordable
solution, most people who are in need of treatment will have to rely on
donor funding. Due to the manner of which the product is constituted, donors
can apply funds over various *CRS
categories, such as health and wellness, quality of life, community
development, natural and organic products, sustainability, save water,
agricultural development, self-reliance and job creation. Most

Clinical Trails
The clinical trials of The Imuniti Nutrition and Supplement Combo pack ended
October 2008 and the pack was approved "save for human consumption" by the
South African Medical Research Council. This milestone is extremely
important as it sets the stage for future trials addressing issues such as
Aids, cancer and all
Immune Deficiencies.
We believe that this product, the Imuniti Monthly Nutrition and Supplement
Combo pack is the perfect nutrition for any individual, sick or healthy. It
fits perfectly into the treatment regime of *HIV
and *AIDS worldwide and because it's 100%
natural and basically a food it cannot have any adverse affect on any of its
users.
Our Promise

people living with HIV/Aids, especially for those not yet on anti-retroviral

We strongly believe that this is the solution to solve world hunger and give
people with serious illnesses like HIV/Aids,
cancer and tuberculoses a change
to live a long and sustainable lifestyle. The Imuniti Nutrition and
Supplement Combo pack encompass everything from food, medication and save
drinking water.
The Challenge
We realize getting the solution to work for those who need it the most is a
daunting task. We acknowledge the facts that we will not be able to overcome
this problem all on our own and would have to rely on all individuals,
groups and organizations, concerned about ending world hunger to join us by
providing a solution that strengthens the immune system, allowing victims to
start living a normal life.
After intensive research into the aid and donor population of the world we
realized that there are literally thousands of individuals, groups and
organizations putting a vast amount of effort in to different projects over
various categories.
We also believe that the solution lies in a combined effort between these
groups. This will only be possible if each group can still follow their own
project plan, but benefit from the efforts of others doing the same. By
sharing information ideas and exchange solutions to specific problems the
industry of donating towards the food insecurity problem of the world can
start making a difference.
We also realized to keep feeding people without education is as good as
flushing those funds down the drain. Even by a combined effort, our research
has show that to solve the problem we need not only to have a good
affordable product , but we also need to educate those we provide for to
become self-reliant.
It all started in Livingstone, Zambia during the "AFRICA TAKE CHARGE"
conference during November 2007 where *E2E
got invited by the Africa Forum to participate and present their nutrition
orientation. A *MOU was signed on the 22
November 2007 between E2E and the Africa Forum.

The product presented is:
- Affordable;
- Available;
- All Natural;
- Eco-friendly;
- Of which the ingredients (raw material) is mostly home grown (all except
Chinese green tea)- it is envisage that agricultural infrastructure will be
developed to produce raw material on a country by country basis wherever
possible;
And comprises:-
- natural immune modulators as immune boosters;
- a high protein fortified food as food supplement;
- a natural water sterilization agent to provide safe drinking water.
It is a monthly pack suitable to feed one person for 30
day's (1 Month) at an affordable price.
The aim is to use this pack as a first line of defense once an individual has
been tested HIV positive especially where the patient is not able to receive ARV
treatment.
This pack will form the nutritional supplementation part to the treatment of
the patient. In essence the Imuniti nutritional supplement combo pack will
become the MAINTENANCE pack of the patient, and will help to build the quality
of life in all regions. The results having been received in using the IMUNITI
PACK are shown in the anecdotal evidence through usage in South Africa, Namibia,
Botswana and Lesotho.
A clinical trial on the Imuniti Nutritional Supplement Combo Pack has just
been completed by the South African Medical Research Council, headed-up by Dr
Gilbert Matsabisa who is a senior technical advisor to the World Health
Organization (WHO). The trial protocols are in accordance with WHO
regulations. This is the first trial of its kind in the world on a product of
this nature and the results will be published in December 2008.
A self-reliance agriculture project has been culminated from this food pack
namely the Edge to Edge/ Africa Forum Agriculture for Self-Reliance Project (*ASRP).
Self-reliance agriculture education has now become possible due to the
simplicity of The Imuniti Nutrition and Supplement Combo pack.
The food component of the pack is basic soya and maize in a precooked state,
both of these cultivars are common to Africa and easy to plant, grow and
harvest. By feeding the people quality high protein food with supplements to
uplift their immune systems, we also provide education to reproduce the main raw
materials/ingredients of The Imuniti Nutrition and Supplement Combo pack. By
enabling the recipients of the food packs to become the part and parcel of the
new supply of raw materials, we also solve the problem identified in our initial
research of possible soy and maize shortages and by creating jobs and to provide
a mean of earning an income for those that had no hope.
Skills transfer and shared ownership with the communities participating in
the roll-out, will take place. As mentioned before, we acknowledge the fact that
this daunting task cannot be accomplished all on our own and also made available
various equity packages that include marketing, distribution and manufacturing
rights.
These options will be available to pre-qualified sponsors and donors,
notwithstanding if they are an individual, group or community. This creates the
opportunity for any donor or sponsor to become a partner who will plough back
profits back into the system.
The last obstacle that came up from our research, was how to overcome the
product delivery and authentication problem that make most of the existing
efforts null-avoid. After long deliberation and with job creation in mind we
decided this problem can be easily solved by creating a delivery and
distribution network from the recipients of the food packs.
By identifying one person out of 100, we will be able to compensate this
individual financially to deliver and provide authenticated proof of delivery of
the packs to the people already pre-qualified. The authentication process
brought along other benefits such as physical proof of the wellbeing of these
communities.
The primary target beneficiaries that will benefit from all the components
are the vulnerable groups.
The objectives to be achieved with this project, are to provide structured
and coordinated processes of delivery and authentication of all products and
services to the malnourished and HIV/Aids infected people of Africa.
All components of this program will contribute to the vision of the Africa
Forum to deploy its best efforts to contribute to the creation of a continent
which is stable, secure and prosperous. The vision and its objectives are shared
by the African Union and its initiative NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa's
Development), to place African countries, both individually and collectively on
a path to sustainable development, to halt economic and political
marginalization of Africa and to enhance the continent's full and beneficial
integration into the global economy.
This project will serve as the general template and baseline for all future
projects to be put in place in Africa, it will be deemed to be the turn key
solution for delivery and logistics, service providing and control of fortified
foods and supplementation to the malnourished as well as HIV/Aids infected
people of Africa.
